Kindred Healthcare recently brought together more than 300 participants from the Health Services Division, Rehabilitation Division and the Hospital Division for a special conference focused on wound care. The event featured nationally known speakers, interactive conference style offerings, hands-on skills demonstrations and tradeshow exhibits.
“This investment in clinical quality improvement will improve our operations, thereby improving our value to each patient, resident, family member, customer, employee and shareholder,” said Tony Disser, Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations in the Hospital Division.
“The symposium offered knowledge and skills to care for the growing population of patients with wounds – information that will help Kindred continue to provide excellent wound care,” said Mary Van de Kamp, Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations, RehabCare.
“The important message of the symposium is the level of expertise our nationally know presenters offered, the focus on evidence-based practice, and the involvement and learning of our direct caregivers who attended,” said Barbara Baylis, Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations for the Health Services Division. “It was a great experience.”
